Dear Reader,
Christ is present in all of us, including those who are alone, poor, sick and in prison. One of the most wonderful and humbling experiences is to love those who are in need. By doing so we come to understand the true meaning of love and we also come to appreciate the gift of Christ's love for us. Please follow the link below to find out about opportunities to serve those in prison near you through participation in the KAIROS prison ministry. The ministry is ecumenical in nature and brings together Christians from all walks of life to fulfill the command to "Love others as you love yourself"
Don't feel like you could enter a prison? There are other ways to serve! You can become involved through spiritual acts of mercy by participating in prayer vigils, donating cookies and supplies, making posters and placemats and the like.
